Feedback from patients is always welcome and a useful way for us to see how we're doing, what you don't particularly like and what improvements we can make.
Friends & Family Test. Patients are always able to give us feedback via the Friends & Family Test which is a very brief questionnaire with the first question being 'How Likely are you to recommend our GP Practice to friends and family if they need similar care?'. This will then be followed up by set responses - 'Extremely likely, Likely, Neither Likely or Unlikely, Unlikely, Extremely Unlikely or Don't Know'. After that, thre is a follow up question giving patients the opportunity to write the reason why they gave that response if they want to. All responses will be anonymous.
The Friends & Family Test is available on this website in the column to the right of our home page and as a paper version from the reception team. You may also find that you receive a text message asking for your opinion.
Each month, we will collect all the responses and publicise them for our patients to review. We believe this test is more relevant than our annual patient survey as we can collect feedback from our patients throughout the year and not just get a snapshot of your opinion of us from one month.
Other ways to give feedback
You are also welcome to give feedback to us in writing, via our suggestions box in the waiting room, via our website or through NHS Choices.
